- Opening of the nomination period for candidates and the registration period for third party advertisers. Candidate nominations may be filed in person or by an agent with the Office of the Town Clerk beginning on Friday, May 1, 2026 until Thursday, August 20, 2026, during regular business hours (Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and on Nomination Day, Friday, August 21, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Third party advertisers may register in person or by an agent with the Office of the Town Clerk during regular business hours (Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) until Friday, October 23, 2026.

- Nomination Day. Last day for a candidate to file a nomination in person or by agent with the Office of the Town Clerk, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

- Full functionality of the Plan Your Vote tool, including voter information services and voting location details, becomes available.

|
September 1 to October 23, 2026
|
- Check that you are on the Voters' List and update your information if needed through Plan Your Vote. Applications to amend your information online or by email must be received by 4:30 p.m. on October 23.

October 19 to 26, 2026
|
- Voting period for special voting locations (including roving polls) for eligible residents of select multi-residential buildings.

- Last day for a third party advertiser to file a notice of registration in person or by an agent with the Office of the Town Clerk, during regular business hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

| October 22 to 25, 2026 |
- Advance vote period. Electors are able to vote at any Advance Vote Location in the Town between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

| Monday, October 26, 2026 |
- Voting Day. Electors are able to vote at any Voting Location in the Town between 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.

| Monday, November 16, 2026 |
- 2026-2030 Term of office begins. Inaugural meeting of Town Council scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
